A fusion of cultures will be celebrated at this event, featuring live music performances from mbira musician, Millicent Chapanda and tabla virtuoso, Mendi Mohinder Singh.

About the artists:
“Millicent Chapanda (Milli Chapanda)is a British-based Zimbabwean Shona cultural artist, traditional mbira player, percussionist, singer, dancer and storyteller. Her music is nourished by Zimbabwean traditional ceremonials where vibrant spiritual & secular music is a key part of bringing people together in devotion, praise, reflection & celebration.”

“Mendi Singh, B.A. Bachelor of Arts, M.A.Master of Arts (Honours) in Indian tabla music, with over 30 years of experience performing and teaching around the world, naming a few UK - Brazil–Switzerland–India-Argentina–Mexico-USA. Mendi started learning the tabla drum from the age of 3 years old, today he is a versatile freelance percussionist. Mendi performs nationally and internationally as a percussionist and has collaborated with high calibre artists such as Peter Gabriel, Darius Brubeck, Anada Shankar, Shalil Shankar and Malkit Singh MBE, Nitin Sawhney, Courtney Pine.”
