What an unforgettable night! CommuniTree Festival 2024 came to a fantastic close with an electrifying finale event at Metronome in Nottingham. The evening was a true celebration of creativity, culture, and community spirit, showcasing some of the finest talent from across the city and beyond.

Headlining the event was none other than The Dhol Foundation, whose high-energy percussion and infectious rhythms had the crowd on their feet from the first beat. Their dynamic performance, filled with pounding drums and powerful rhythms, created an atmosphere of pure excitement that echoed through the venue. The audience couldn’t get enough!

Also gracing the stage were the exquisite Sidiki Dembélé Ensemble, bringing uplifting rhythms to Nottingham with their performance of traditional pieces from West Africa. The ensemble’s blend of traditional music and contemporary flair resonated deeply with the audience. And let’s not forget the captivating performance by Take 1 Dance, whose stunning choreography added a visual feast to the evening, combining rhythm, movement, and cultural expression in a powerful display.

Metronome proved to be the perfect setting for this larger-than-usual gig, offering the space and atmosphere to host such a diverse and energetic lineup. The crowd was wild with excitement, embracing the uplifting percussion and dancing along as the rhythms filled the air.
